My favourite thing about living on campus - being so close to everything and living near friends in Park Wood.

It's really quick and easy to apply for returning student accommodation. All you need to do is head to our application pages and apply when they open in January!
Applications for returning student applications will open in mid-January, but you can register your interest now and you'll be the first to know when applications are live.
On the Canterbury campus, the first 1,000 eligible applications received are guaranteed a room offer for next year. You can apply for any accommodation option except Turing College which is reserved for first-year students.
Demand for en-suite rooms is high and as we allocate accommodation on a 'first come first served' basis it's best to apply as early as possible!
Returning KMMS students can also apply for designated Park Wood accommodation via a separate link.
For Medway students returners accommodation is available at Pier Quays (including phase two rooms) with exclusive sport membership included and a guaranteed room offer when booking through us.
We'll be sending an email confirming your exact room/college allocation from March 2022 onwards depending on your application date. So check your email regularly.
As soon as you've received your allocation you can log in to your application and accept your accommodation offer for 2022!
You'll need to accept or decline your offer before the expiry date, but you can cancel you accommodation application at any time prior to accepting your offer. However, once you have accepted your offer it becomes legally binding.

With no hidden costs you only need to pay the standard accommodation price in September 2022. For Medway, an advanced rent payment is needed earlier when accepting your offer but this is then deducted from your first term's payment.
Yes, KMMS students can apply from February 2022 via a separate link which will be emailed to you.
There are a lot of great benefits to living with us again in your second and third year such as being able to live with friends and a quick and easy application process. However, for our Medway students we have a couple of exclusive extra incentives when booking directly through the University of Kent:
Please note, when accepting your accommodation offer you will need to make a £250 advanced rent payment. This will then be deducted from your first accommodation payment at the start of term and is non-refundable if you cancel your agreement after seven days of accepting.
Apply directly through the University of Kent from mid-January 2022, but you can register your interest now and you'll be the first to know when applications go live.
Check out our Medway FAQ guide for more information. If you are a current resident (who booked through the University of Kent) then check your email for your special returners offer from the Accommodation Office.
