Scholarships for international students
The University has a long tradition of welcoming students from all around the world and we are pleased to have funding opportunities available for students from a wide range of countries.
We're pleased to be part of the British Council GREAT scholarship scheme, offering £10,000 scholarships, as well as the chance to attend British Council networking events with other GREAT scholars. There's no essay requirement, but you will need to submit a brief application.
This year our September offering is for postgraduate taught students on a one year course who are from Ghana, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand and Turkey.
If you are starting at Kent in January 2026, you could qualify for the Kent Future Student Scholarships, worth up to £5,000 (or £6,000 if combined with the Kent Business School bursary!):
