Scholarships for international students

The University has a long tradition of welcoming students from all around the world and we are pleased to have funding opportunities available for students from a wide range of countries.

Kent International Scholarships January 2027

Undergraduate

International applicants who receive and accept an offer for a Kent undergraduate programme starting in January 2027, could receive the Kent International Scholarship (UG) of £5,000 (subject to the eligibility criteria). Further details on eligibility criteria and deadlines coming soon!

The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver.

£3,000 will be applied as a tuition fee waiver in the first stage of your degree
£2,000 will be applied as a tuition fee waiver when you progress to the second stage of your degree.
If you are studying with us for just one year, you will receive the £3,000 tuition fee waiver only

You do not need to make an application, the award will be added to your application once you have accepted your offer, although please allow a few weeks to receive your scholarship offer.

Postgraduate Taught

If you receive and accept an offer for a Kent Taught Masters starting in January 2027, you could qualify for our Kent International Scholarships, worth £5,000, or £3,000 if you have applied for a Kent Business School programme. Further details on eligibility criteria and deadlines coming soon!

To be eligible, you need to be domiciled in Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, or Vietnam.

You do not need to make an application, the award will be added to your application once you have accepted your offer, although please allow a few weeks to receive your scholarship offer.

British Council GREAT Scholarship for Indian Students - January 2027

If you have applied for a one-year taught Master's programme for January 2027 entry, and are an Indian passport holder (who is also domiciled in India), you may be eligible to apply for this scholarship which will award a £10,000 tuition fee discount to the successful applicant.

More details on eligibility criteria, application process, and deadlines will be released soon.

Chevening Scholarship September 2027/28

The scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly stipend, travel costs to and from the UK, the cost of a visa application as well as a travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK.
