This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in January 2027 only.
Please note that this scholarship is only available to students assessed as self-funded overseas fee payers who are paying fees directly to the University of Kent. This award is also open to international students who are assessed as overseas fee payers, but are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study.
This award is not stackable with other University of Kent scholarships. Should you apply for a higher value scholarship and be successful, then you will receive the higher value award. The Kent International Scholarship (UG) will then be retracted.
Applicants who have applied for distance learning programmes are not eligible.
Applicants who have applied for a short term programme are not eligible.
Applicants from the Kent and Medway Medical School or the School of Pharmacy are not eligible.
Students joining us for the Business top up, taught via Beaconhouse International College are not eligible.
Applicants studying under UKIC or progressing to their undergraduate degree from UKIC are not eligible.
We are delighted to offer automatic scholarships of up to £5,000 to eligible applicants who accept their offer to study at the University of Kent. This will be allocated over two years as a tuition fee waiver. The first £3,000 will be taken off the tuition fees for the first year of study, and the remaining £2,000 will be deducted from the tuition fees for the second year of study.
If the programme only runs for one year, you will receive £3,000 for the one year.
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have applied for undergraduate taught, full-time programmes, and have met the criteria listed below.
There is no application process. All eligible applicants who have accepted their offer by the stated deadlines will be contacted with a scholarship offer in due course, which they will need to accept.
