International students

These pages will give you lots of useful information about preparing for your arrival in the UK and settling in to university life.

Find your crowd

Join our Unibuddy Community group to get talking to other offer-holders at Kent. The group is a safe, official space to meet and get to know other new students and help you make the transition to uni life in the UK.

Enrolment and registration

It is essential that you enrol online as soon as possible. Look out for your 'How to enrol' email in your applicant portal in-tray.

Registration will take place remotely. Look out for any emails from the Student Immigration Compliance Team who may request further information before your registration can be completed.

We’ll let you know by email when your registration is complete and you are officially registered as a University of Kent student. We’ll also let you know how you will receive your KentOne student ID card. When you travel to Kent, please ensure that you bring your qualification documents with you, in case you are asked to complete a qualification check.

Prepare for studying in the UK

The British Council have developed a new online course to help you prepare for studying in the UK. The course is free of charge and will enable you to learn more about teaching and learning in the UK, as well as student life.
