Once you have completed enrolment, you will need to collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). If your BRP is sent to the University, the Student Immigration Compliance Team will email you when it is ready for collection, plus where and when to collect it. If your BRP is sent to a Post Office, you must collect it first and then visit the Arrivals Hub to be registered. If you collect your BRP from the Post Office, you will need to bring your visa decision letter, passport, BRP and sharecode* (if you hold digital immigration permission) and we will give you your KentOne student ID card after you have been registered.
If you need to complete a qualification check, please also bring your academic certificates, marksheets and transcripts.
*You should check your Student visa decision letter for information on how to create a UKVI account and where you can view your immigration status online. If you have already done this, please bring your sharecode with you to registration. More information can be found on gov.uk.
If you are an EU student
Once you have completed enrolment, you will be registered virtually and need to visit the Arrivals Hub (Canterbury) or the Medway building reception (Medway) to collect your KentOne student ID card.
