Prior to your arrival

Student (previously Tier 4) visa
We provide information on how to apply for a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS):

Upon your arrival
Once you have arrived in the UK, you will need to:
- collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), if applicable
- register in person with the Student Immigration Compliance Team in the Arrivals Hub (this is only applicable to visa students)
- read your Student visa responsibilities
It is no longer a requirement to register with the police upon your arrival in the UK.
During your studies
