This collection contains sets, cut character figurines and scripts for particular toy theatre plays, as well as various miscellaneous scenery, staging and lighting equipment.

In Victorian times Toy Theatres, then known as Juvenile Drama, were designed as souvenirs of live theatre. They often featured fine engravings of famous actors and characters of the time, alongside sets and scenery, all on a tiny scale.
