Postgraduate Study Hub - Senate building
Senate Postgraduate Study Hub is open 24/7 for
postgraduates.
As well as study spaces and PCs it offers day lockers, a lounge area and a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Find out about the full range of facilities and see how many PCs are free now.
Location and access
Find Senate. You need your KentOne card to get in.
Wheelchair access: take the lift to the first floor. Accessible toilet on ground floor.
Study carrels - Templeman Library
The Library has a number of individual study rooms you can rent on a monthly basis. Each room is lockable and has a desk, chair and lamp.
Monthly rentals
- Rental period: from the first to the last day of each calendar month.
- £18.70 per month.
Quarterly rentals
- Rental periods: October-December, January-March, April-June, July-September.
- £54 per quarter.
You can arrange a one month break in rental - ask at the Templeman Library Welcome Desk for more information.
How to apply
Visit the Welcome Desk and fill in a carrel application form. You only need to do this once in each academic year.
Renewing your rental
To renew a carrel rental, you must pay the cost of the next rental period within the last week of the current period.
