We are now running weekly Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation classes starting on the 19 April.
We are excited to announce that we will be running a weekly Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation class starting from Tuesday 19 April 2022.
Run by Liz Coult, our qualified B.A.C.P.R (British Association of Cardiovascular Prevention Rehabilitation) exercise professional, the Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation classes are a crucial part of recovery and prevention if you have suffered a cardiac event or have attended the NHS cardiac rehabilitation phase III programme.
The classes will take place in an environment that is positive and help towards an active and healthy lifestyle.
Before being able to join these classes, a medical referral is always required. Referrals can come from the cardiac rehabilitation phase III team or a GP.
The classes are supervised and held in the dance studio at the University of Kent Sports Centre every Tuesday starting 19 April 2022.
The class is 60-minutes long running from 9.45am to 10.45am, with an additional 15 minutes afterwards for tea/coffee and socialising.
The class costs £5 each and there is no commitment to join the class each week. You are invited to join as many of the classes as you like.
