Skills and Employability Week 2018 – 19th & 20th February

During WEEK 18 the School of Music and Fine Art, with the Centre for Music and Audio Technology will host a series of workshops including:

  • Performance Masterclass with Ben Martinez (guitarist to Jessie J and the Saturdays) and Kelly Fraser (X Factor vocal coach).
  • Guitar Recording Techniques with experienced sound engineer Steve Cooper.
  • Industry professionals Lucy Medhurst (incoming director of Ideas Test), Laurence Taylor (co-director and co-founder of Open School East) and Julian Doyle (experienced art technician working with Turner Contemporary, Beaney Museum and more) will be joining us to impart valuable knowledge.

These workshops are open to all University of Kent students and we will be hosting students from Partner Colleges and Partner Schools (giving prospective students a taste of life at Kent)
