New undergraduates

Budget to have enough money to cover your first few weeks as your maintenance loan may not come through immediately.

Make sure you bring your University or College Payment Advice letter with you as you may need to have it scanned by a member of the Financial Aid Office. You will be advised what to do if required.

Once you have registered, any authorised maintenance payments should be released by the Student Loans Company in three to six working days.

Paying your fees

When you join the University, you'll have a financial account which is held centrally and managed by the Income Office. The Income Office is responsible for collecting all tuition and accommodation fees applied to your student financial account and can help with any enquiries about paying your tuition and accommodation fees.

Understanding and preparing for when your fees are due to be paid will help you plan your budget for the year.  If there are any issues with your account, or you are struggling to meet the payment deadline dates, then please get in touch with us as it's better to address any concerns you have about payment deadlines sooner rather than later. We are here to help, and will work with you to find a solution.
