The Student Conduct and Complaints Office (SCCO) is responsible for the investigation of all student complaints and non-academic student discipline issues.

About Us

The Student Conduct & Complaints Office is a friendly, approachable team which is responsible for investigating all student complaints and student conduct issues. The officers aim to ensure all students have a positive experience on and off campus by facilitating the university's Student Discipline procedure and Student Complaints procedure.

We also offer unbiased advice and support to Academic Schools and University Departments regarding these specialist areas. We are also the point of contact between the University and the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA).

What are we here for?

  • To conduct investigations and meetings with students in regards to student behaviour on and off campus and student complaints. 
  • To offer advice and help for any student complaints or non-academic discipline issues. 
  • To ensure all students have a positive experience on and off campus through ensuring that students follow the University’s regulations, policies and Procedures regarding student conduct to improve the student experience.
  • To create and support an inclusive and diverse community that is open and accessible to all students. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or bullying of any groups or individuals. If you are concerned, you can contact us with any concerns.
