About

Ceridwen Evans is a Lecturer in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at the Tizard Centre. She teaches across a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programmes and convenes several modules. 

Research interests

  • Adapting and implementing Active Support for special educational settings
  • Staff training in Active Support and Positive Behavioural Support
  • Employability for young adults with IDD
  • Community living and deinstitutionalisation
  • Both quantitative (single case experimental designs) and qualitative research  

Teaching

Ceridwen teaches across the postgraduate courses in Autism Studies, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and Analysis and Intervention in IDD (AIIDD). She also teaches on two psychology undergraduate modules.     

Supervision

Ceridwen supervises masters dissertation projects for the PG Autism Studies, IDD, AIIDD, ABA & PBS programmes.
