Colin Renfrew Archive

The papers of the eminent British archaeologist Colin Renfrew. The archive is a major resource for research on the history of archaeology, archaeological theory and the Aegean Bronze Age.

The archive is composed of letters, minutes, meeting papers, manuscript notebooks, photographs, slides, maps, offprint's, archaeological samples, memorabilia and Lord Renfrew's copies of his own publications.

Most of the collection is now catalogued. This material is stored off site and requires several days' notice for retrieval; please contact Special Collections with any enquiries.
