Advice for Clearing Students - Student Finance


Still to apply for finance?

If you've got a place at Kent through the Clearing process and haven't applied for student finance you need to apply right away.

It will take at least six weeks for Student Finance England to process your application, but they will do an initial assessment so you have some money as close to the start of your course as possible. You should apply online now, go

Don't forget...

Once your loan is confirmed, don’t forget to sign and return the declaration you receive from your funding body or you won’t receive any payments at the start of term!

Already applied for student finance?

If you've already applied for student finance but your course, university or college have changed through Clearing you'll need to let Student Finance England know as it could affect what you're entitled to.

Students can make changes to their course, college or university details online. To make a change log into your online account* then Your Account>Change your application>University/college course
