If you require catering between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday for up to 50 people, you can use our online booking system. You can order, amend and cancel your bookings using this system up to two working days before the event.
We can provide a range of options to suit your needs. In the event that a booking has to be moved, the Conference Office will aim do so with the minimum of disruption and with prior consultation.
There is a minimum order charge of £15 for weekdays and £100 for weekends.
There are no delivery charges for orders above £15 on weekdays and £100 at weekends. A surcharge will be added to any orders with lower values than £15/£100 respectively.
Internal catering can be delivered to offices and meeting rooms across the Canterbury campus. For any rooms that are above or below ground level, please ensure that the delivery location has access via a lift.
There are a small number of areas on campus where, due to health and safety regulations, a delivery service cannot be provided, however where this is applicable, the Conference Office are happy to suggest a suitable alternative location.
Yes, we do provide delivered catering on the Medway campus.
For smaller events, which simply require drinks, snacks, and sandwiches; catering services will be provided by the University of Greenwich.
For larger events, such as barbecues, drinks receptions, conferences, and banquets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Conference Office on +44 (0)1227 764000 with details of your requirements.
We advise that orders should be requested for 15 minutes before they are actually required, as such please always ensure the room time is booked to allow this extra time before the start of your event where needed. Crockery/cups and utensils will be delivered for the numbers booked.
Please note, on busy days deliveries may need to be made up to one hour in advance of the time you requested. If you do not want your meeting to be disturbed, you may need to consider using an alternative room for storage of refreshments.
For groups of under 50, any orders should be made with two working days notice on orders, amendments or cancellations.
For larger events of more than 49 people, we recommend you book as soon as you know your event may need catering. This is to ensure availability while also allowing you to retain flexibility as you are able to freely amend your order (including numbers and food) up to two working days before your event. Larger orders can be made by emailing email@example.com with at least two working days’ notice.
Please note that any orders made with less than two working days’ notice will be subject to a late order administration charge of £10.
If you need to make any amendments or cancellations within two working days of the event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting the reference number.
The full cost will be charged for any booking cancelled within 24 hours of the delivery time and 50% of the total booking value will be charged 48 hours prior to the event. Events cancelled more than 48 hours before the event is due to start will not be charged cancellation fees
