Your student/staff ID card at Kent.
First and foremost, your KentOne card is your proof of staff/student ID on campus, and it's important to keep it on you at all times to show Campus Security if needed to help keep our campuses secure.
You need your KentOne card to enter, exit or borrow items from either Templeman or Drill Hall libraries. If topped up you can also use it to pay any library fines or purchase printing credits.
If you require access to restricted areas on campus this will be added to your KentOne card. You may also be asked to show your card when collecting mail from receptions.
If you are a member of Kent Sport you will need your KentOne card to access the gym and other sporting facilities on campus.
You will need to have your KentOne card to enter exam venues or your exam number to access your online exams. Your student exam number is also printed in red on the front of your card.
You can use your KentOne card as a cashless payment option at the two Co-op shops on the Canterbury campus and at the Templeman Library for printer credit.
The KentOne card uses contactless technology so for most access features you'll just need to show it to the right person or scan it on the right machine.
