Hayley's thesis title is 'The role of trauma exposure in the development of internalizing and externalizing symptoms in gang-involved and non-gang males'.
Hayley's research interests are at the intersection of gang membership and wellbeing. Her PhD research aims to establish links between trauma exposure in gang-affiliated youth and mental illness.
Other interests include criminal justice responses to gang membership.
