Make the most of your time at university with Kent Extra - a range of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities that will enhance your employability and develop the skills prized by graduate employers.
Spend a year abroad, work in industry, attend a summer school, volunteer, learn a language or take a Kent Extra course to complement your degree. Some of these activities are assessed and, if your programme allows, may contribute to your grade. Others are extra-curricular and not assessed but could help you stand out in the competitive graduate employment market.
Many of the Kent Extra programmes will appear on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) and could also earn you Employability Points. Whichever programme or activity you choose, Kent Extra adds a new dimension to your learning and further enhances your experience at the University of Kent.
