Wildlife Forensic Academy opportunities for Kent students

Wildlife Forensic Academy

Opportunities for Kent students to attend the WFA in South Africa, the world’s first and only dedicated training facility for wildlife forensics

Opportunities with the Wildlife Forensic Academy (South Africa)

We are excited to announce a range of opportunities for Kent students interested in this emerging field of forensics. The Wildlife Forensic Academy is the world’s first and only dedicated training facility for wildlife forensics – a niche forensic discipline that applies conventional forensic techniques and technologies to preventing and investigating wildlife crime.

The Academy is based one hour north of the internationally-renowned (and truly beautiful) city of Cape Town in South Africa and comprises a 1,000m2 experience lab consisting of several crime scenes (three types of wildlife, furnished house, street with vehicles, and marine poaching scene), a laboratory, and a courtroom.
