Woolf College, Canterbury student accommodation

Woolf standard en-suite room

Welcome to Woolf College

Woolf College rooms surround a grassy courtyard area offering great outside space to relax. All rooms are en-suite and grouped into flats with large social kitchens perfect for relaxing with friends and flatmates, or you can head down to the Woolf College common room for more space to unwind or group study.

You'll only be a two to three minute walk from the centre of campus and a host of facilities including: Templeman Library, handy for those late night study sessions; Gulbenkian cinema, for catching all the latest films and shows; and Origins bar and grill, great for grabbing a bite with friends and enjoy the student atmosphere. You're also nearby to Kent Sport's facilities which you can use for free as sport membership is included with your accommodation.

The college itself is also home to a reception for all your deliveries, a launderette, and cycle storage. Plus with a bus stop on its doorstep it's very convenient for travelling into the city or getting your groceries from one of the local supermarkets.

Group of people high-fiving

I looked forward to the independence of living on campus and meeting new people.

Enjoy campus life

Housed with fellow undergraduate Kent students you'll be part of the Woolf College community and can look forward to getting involved with any of the events your Kent student union or College and Community Life Team regularly host.

Lots of students choose to return to live on campus for their second and third years as well to live with the friends they met in their accommodation or on their course during their first year. So while returning students and postgraduate students live separately from first-year students there are always familiar and friendly faces around.

Live with friends

If you're coming to University as a first-year student with a friend, or are a group of returning students you can apply to live together in Woolf College.

All you need to do is include the full names of your friends and their Kent student/applicant number in the 'other comments' section of your application. That's it - as long as they've done the same we'll house you together in the same flat.

Sound good? Just follow our advice and apply early, especially if there is a big group of you. We do our best to ensure all preferences are met, but this is subject to availability so the earlier you apply the better.
