Park Wood Flats are located in the Park Wood student village and is surrounded by beautiful parkland. It offers self-catered accommodation with a range of nearby facilities, including Woody's bar, a Co-op shop, launderettes, a study hub, and sports facilities at the Pavilion.

Park Wood residents enjoy access to a stylish lounge/study hub located near the Park Wood Flats. Exclusively for Park Wood residents, this hub offers a selection of PCs, study areas, and social spaces where students can relax away from their accommodation.  

Students staying here share with up to six others, with all rooms featuring en-suite facilities and access to a kitchen/diner equipped with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave. Accessible accommodation is also available in Park Wood Flats - Kemsdale Court.    

The accommodation costs cover gas, electricity, water, WiFi access, personal possessions insurance, and a premium sports membership.

Applying for accommodation

Accommodation is available from September to June for 38 weeks, including the winter and spring vacations. Payments are made in instalments at the start of each term.  

Prices for each accommodation can be found on our Accommodation Prices page.

You can apply for accommodation with no deposit, through our online application portal from mid-January to 30 June to secure a guaranteed offer, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. Don’t worry if you miss the initial deadlines - our application portal remains open after 30 June but you won't be guaranteed an offer after this date.

Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS)

We offer designated 44-week accommodation in Park Wood exclusively for KMMS students, where you’ll live alongside fellow medical school students. Visit the KMMS accommodation page for more details and to apply.  

Returning students

Returning student accommodation is also available for undergraduate students in their second year and above. Applications open in January, and returning students will be notified in December when they can begin applying.

Cleaning Services and laundry

Each college has a nearby launderette, and the Cleaning Services team provides a light top-up clean. A more thorough clean can be booked for an additional cost.
