We regret to announce that Sound Journal has now ceased to accept
any new submissions, as the principal editors are no longer able to
work on it. The site will remain accessible for at least the next two
years, however.
While active, Sound Journal carried forward critical debate
across the disciplines, and our essays, reviews and interviews crossed
boundaries and built new coalitions. This is the only journal (so far)
to consider sound across so many boundaries. We hope that you enjoyed
its wide variety of essays, review articles and interviews, and the
space it provided for creative works for practitioners, as a medium
for feedback, and for creative and intellectual exchange.
Any academic who wishes to discuss the possibility of taking
over the active running of Sound Journal is asked to contact Dave Reason
(D.A.Reason@kent.ac.uk) to express their interest, and Allan Crockford
(A.Crockford@kent.ac.uk) for any technical queries.
