Engaging with performance techniques also requires a knowledge of music computer programming, marketing, and production.
At Kent, our unique music BA therefore allows you to explore pathways in music business, performance, or audio technology. This equips you with the skills and knowledge that are needed to make your degree and your career your own, aligned with your interests and passions.

We use a variety of teaching methods including practical and technical workshops, performance platforms, seminars, lectures and group projects.
For a student studying full time, each academic year of the programme will comprise 1200 learning hours which include both direct contact hours and private study hours. The precise breakdown of hours will be subject dependent and will vary according to modules.
