Top 10 Tips To Walk To Campus

1. Time

Give yourself enough time so you don't end up running late and find yourself running!

Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and have appropriate clothing for the weather

Be prepared for the Kentish weather to throw anything at you. Strong winds. Icy footpaths and more

Pick up any trash you see along the way and you will do the environment a big favour! 

5. Listen to a podcast

Multi-task! Did you know the university has a podcast for students, by students?

When wearing headphones/ earphones, be aware of your surroundings and your personal safety

6. Record your steps

Use an app like Strava or a fitness tracker to keep on top of how many miles you have walked!

7. Get a walking buddy
