About

Rebecca’s work centres on helping students connect academic learning to real-world application. She designs experiential modules, mentoring initiatives and industry-informed learning activities that build confidence, digital fluency and the ability to articulate skills to employers. She is particularly interested in inclusive curriculum design, reflective learning, and how entrepreneurial mindsets can support career adaptability in rapidly changing labour markets.
Alongside her teaching, Rebecca maintains strong links with industry, alumni and regional partners. She has led mentoring programmes, employer engagement initiatives and large-scale student-industry events that create authentic opportunities for students to develop networks, gain experience and explore career pathways. Her international collaborations have included curriculum development projects and enterprise education partnerships.
Rebecca is committed to widening participation and supporting diverse student progression, ensuring that all learners leave university equipped with the skills, confidence and professional identity needed to succeed in their chosen careers.
