MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management Achieves Double Accreditation
11 January 2018
Kent Business School's Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management has received professional recognition thanks to recent accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), complementing its accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
The accreditation from CIPS, an internationally-recognised professional body in the field of logistics and supply, brings significant added value to those already enrolled or seeking to enrol in the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme. Primarily, students will benefit from complimentary student membership of the Institute for the duration of their studies within the programme. They can also utilise the CIPS' wider professional expertise to help further their studies and understanding of the subject. These benefits include:
- Access to the CIPS Knowledge Centre
- A dedicated 'Student Zone' which includes past papers, revision and exam tips
- Continuing professional development (CPD tool)
- E-learning opportunities
- Exclusive member events
All of these benefits help those enrolled on the MSc programme to further their studies and upon successful completion of it, gain membership of the CIPS – an internationally recognised award represents the global standard within the profession for a procurement and supply professional.
As well as the recent CIPS accreditation, the MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (CILT). CILT also offers a range of specifically-curated information for students via a dedicated online hub, events and ongoing learning opportunities. Importantly, membership is covered by Kent Business School for the duration of the programme, and those who graduate from the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management are exempt from the academic requirement for Chartered Membership.
