Dr. Anthony Manning is the Dean for Global and Lifelong Learning at the University of Kent. In this role, he oversees the development, implementation, and review of international and lifelong learning initiatives. His responsibilities encompass the internationalisation of the curriculum, leading internationalisation at home, creating pathways to higher education, and managing short courses, executive education, continuing professional development (CPD), degree apprenticeships, and online learning.

Anthony is recognised as a Principal Fellow of Advance HE and a National Teaching Fellow. With professional experience in five countries, he has spearheaded educational partnerships and development projects across more than 25 countries. He also chairs the Joint Academic Board for Kent’s partnership with Oxford International.

Beyond his work at the University of Kent, Anthony serves as the Chair of the British Accreditation Council’s (BAC) Accreditation Committee. He is a member of the British Council’s English Language Advisory Group and NCUK’s Academic Quality Committee.
