KentPlayer

KentPlayer uses the Panopto software to enable staff to record or live stream lectures.

Start here to learn the basics of recording and live streaming using KentPlayer and Panopto.

To download Panopto, navigate to https://kent.cloud.panopto.eu and login. Press the Download Panopto button in the top right. Please note the system requirements for Windows and for Mac.

Microsoft Teams

An easy way to hold virtual meetings and collaborate with students, colleagues or external contacts.

All Modules have had an MS Team assigned. Module Convenors, Teachers, Support Staff and Students enrolled on the module are added automatically.

Moodle Essentials

The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) we use at the University of Kent and the main destination for teaching related materials.

Moodle Interactive

The resources below will help you to add more interactivity to your module, or simply cover more advanced topics.

H5P Interactive Content

H5P is a platform for creating interactive content in Moodle, such as Flash Cards, Interactive Videos, Quizzes and more. It's easy to use, and can help to make your teaching more engaging.

  • Ensure your Moodle module pages are up to date and are designed in-line with the Good Moodle Guide.
  • Consider the overall accessibility of any documents or resources being shared.
  • Remember to manage student expectations by telling them how you intend to use any of the tools, systems or resources noted above.
