Distance and Online Learning

The E-Learning team have a wide range of experience and knowledge supporting Kent students and staff with distance and online delivery.

Apprenticeships

Kent provides apprenticeship programmes across a wide range of disciplines. The E-Learning team can provide detailed and bespoke support in initial design and feasibility, production, and maintenance of learning content.

Using Moodle and associated systems such as KentPlayer, students undertaking an apprenticeship programme can be supported in their studies, undertaking modules designed to match the delivery model of the programme in question.

The team can support staff in module design and layout, and the use of different platforms to teach and assess students in novel and engaging ways, ensuring content is delivered to meet the module and programme learning outcomes.

Recognising that apprenticeship students will engage and perceive their time undertaking their studies in a different way to those doing a more traditional degree structure is key in making sure they remain engaged, focussed, and achieve their best potential.
