Welcome to the School of Computing!
The School of Computing is based in the Kennedy Building on the University of Kent campus. In this building you’ll find most of our computing academic staff offices, study areas and social spaces. The School of Computing’s Head of School is Ms Janet Carter. Make sure you have a walk around the building to familiarise yourself with the space!
We have put together a mixture of informative and fun activities to help you get off to the best start in the School of Computing. You can find all of our timetables using the links below. If you aren’t sure which timetable to follow or you need an alternative version of any of our timetables for accessibility reasons, please get in touch with the CEMS Student Experience team (CEMSStudentExperience@kent.ac.uk) who will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Information for returning students
If you are a continuing student in the School of Computing, welcome back to a new year at Kent! We are excited to have you back and look forward to seeing you in the welcome back talks which will be in the first week of the Autumn teaching term. However, if you are in Canterbury during Welcome Week, there are still plenty of other events happening across our campus. You can find out more about these here!
