- Becky Thomas
Becky Thomas is a graphic designer and illustrator with over 20 years industry experience in local authority, the private sector and freelance. Her freelance focus involves working with organisations that create positive change including charities, community interest and not for profit companies. She has produced work for Oasis Domestic Abuse, Survation, Margate Soul Festival and Action Duchenne.
Becky established Margate’s first post-graduate course in Visual Communication at The Margate School and launched the Margate Festival of Design. Educated at London College of Communication, Becky has a passion for typography and clear modernist design, believing strongly that the epitome of good design is human-centred which helps communication within communities. As well as teaching on the BA(Hons) Graphic Design programme at University of Kent, Becky teaches at City Lit, London and runs children’s and adult workshops to engage people of all ages in creative practice.

Stage 1:
Becky continues to work as a freelance graphic designer. Recent work has been completed for the UK Creative Festival, Trussell Trust, Air Ambulance and Greenpeace.
