Available exclusively to returning students, Keynes Houses offer comfortable and convenient student living, combining modern amenities with a friendly atmosphere. 

Each house features a spacious, contemporary kitchen shared among nine residents, creating a perfect setting for cooking and socialising.

The layout includes one bedroom on the ground floor and four more bedrooms per floor, with two sets of shower and toilet facilities on each.   

Located on central campus, Keynes Houses provide easy access to a wide range of services. 

Accommodation costs cover gas, heating, electricity, water, WiFi, personal possessions insurance, and even a premium sports membership, making Keynes Houses an excellent choice for students seeking community, comfort, and value.

Flex meal plan

Enhance your university experience with the Flex Meal Plan, available as an optional add-on. With £14 per day (2025/26) to spend at a variety of campus catering outlets, you’ll have the freedom to explore and enjoy the diverse menus on offer, seven days a week during term time.

Applying for accommodation

Accommodation is available from September to June for 38 weeks, including the winter and spring vacations. Payments are made in instalments at the start of each term.  

Prices for each accommodation can be found on our Accommodation Prices page.

You can apply for accommodation with no deposit, through our online application portal from mid-January to 30 June to secure a guaranteed offer, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. Don’t worry if you miss the initial deadlines - our application portal remains open after 30 June but you won't be guaranteed an offer after this date.

Bring your own bedding or order a bedding pack and other essentials from UniKitOut, delivered directly to your room and ready for your arrival.

Bed sizes

Check the bed size for this accommodation to ensure you bring or purchase the correct bedding. Bedding packs and other essentials are available from UniKitOut, once your room is allocated.

Housekeeping and laundry

Each college has a nearby launderette, and the housekeeping team provides a light top-up cleaning service. For a more thorough clean, you can book an additional cleaning service for an extra cost.
