You’ll collect your fob/key there on Arrivals Weekend, and any parcel deliveries for Giles Court will also be available for collection from Keynes College Reception.

Discover Giles Court

Giles Court is our newest self-catered accommodation, opened in September 2025, offering a mix of en-suite flats and studio bedrooms. There is also one accessible room available in Giles Court.    

Perfectly located adjacent to Turing Flats, Giles Court is just a short walk from the vibrant Canterbury campus centre and the University Medical Centre, while its rear overlooks serene woodlands - ideal for those seeking a blend of campus life and peaceful surroundings.

Your accommodation fee includes everything you need for a hassle-free stay: utilities (gas, electricity, water, heating), high-speed WiFi, personal possessions insurance, and even a premium sports membership—giving you access to campus fitness facilities and opportunities to stay active.

Giles Court offers the best of both worlds, a tranquil, secluded location within easy reach of the University's lively community, making it an exceptional choice for students seeking comfort and convenience.

Applying for accommodation

Our en-suite bedrooms are available from September to August for 44 weeks including winter, spring and part of the summer vacation. 

52-week contracts are available on the studios (single occupancy) from September - September. Payments are made in instalments at the start of each period.

You can apply for accommodation with no deposit, through our online application portal from mid-January to 30 June to secure a guaranteed offer, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. Don’t worry if you miss the initial deadlines - our application portal remains open after 30 June but you won't be guaranteed an offer after this date.

Returning students

Returning student accommodation is also available for undergraduate students in their second year and above. Applications open in January, and returning students will be notified in December when they can begin applying.

Cleaning Services and laundry

Each college has a nearby launderette, and the Cleaning Services team provides a light top-up clean. A more thorough clean can be booked for an additional cost.
