Academic practice team
The Academic Practice team offers a range of support for all staff engaged in teaching and research. We organise and teach the PGCHE and ATAP programmes for those relatively new to academic work, from Graduate Teaching Assistants to new full-time lecturers, and facilitate Continuing Professional Development for more experienced staff. We also offer advice and information on how you can obtain support and find resources to help you develop your own academic career or the work of your department.
Finally we act as an educational research resource for the University, keeping colleagues informed of relevant research developments and supporting the development of educational research across the disciplines.
