FINANCIAL HARDSHIP SUB-COMMITTEE
Membership:
Chair: Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow, Vice-Chancellor and Professor Alex Hughes, Pro-Vice-Chancellor.
Members: The College Masters: Darwin, Rutherford, Keynes, Eliot; Director of Student Services; Students’ Union Welfare Officer.
In attendance: Advice Services Manager, Students’ Union or nominee; Administrative Officer, responsible for the Financial Aid Office; Financial Aid Officer(s) (D.J.Bowles@kent.ac.uk).
The following will be included in all communications and will be invited to attend for appropriate items of business: Equality Co-ordinator, The Head of International Office or nominee, Part-Time study representative as nominated by Head of Admissions and Partnership Services, Director of Communications and Marketing, Head of European Office.
Terms of Reference (15th January 2007)
‘To determine policy and procedures for the administration of the Access to Learning Funds in accordance with Government guidance. In addition the Sub-Committee will deliberate on other sources of funding eligible to students suffering financial hardship’.
