The Vice-Chancellor of Kent is the principal academic and administrative officer of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor is assisted by Deputy Vice-Chancellors and Pro-Vice-Chancellors and other administrative officers and their staff in the day-to-day management of the University.
Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow DBE, CBE, FMedSci, FInstP became the 5th Vice Chancellor of the University in September 2007.
Julia was previously Chief Executive of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
