More information including public holidays and University closures is available from the Office of the Academic Registrar.
When do classes start and finish?
Classes may be timetabled between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday with no classes after 1pm on Wednesday to allow for sports and other extra-curricular activities. Sometimes classes fall outside these times, usually for optional sessions with alternatives available, where these have been notified in advance or where specialist facilities are required.
When is reading week?
There is no university-wide reading week: reading weeks vary from school to school and from module to module with some modules having no reading week. Check your timetable carefully to see when your classes are scheduled.
Where can I go to study?
Information Services lists available PCs and rooms for quiet study. During the summer term there are additional rooms available for revision.
When is my timetable available?
Individual student timetables will be available for students through the Student Guide and for subscription via iCal feeds.
