The University of Kent organise a number of residential summer schools for students who attend KMPF and Partner Schools.
There are currently two summer schools planned for 2019, one for students in year 10 and one for students in year 12. Please refer to the relevant section below for additional information.
Year 10 Summer School
Are you in Year 10? Are you considering university but are not sure if it is right for you?
The University of Kent Partner Schools Summer School is a 4 day residential taking place on the University’s Canterbury campus. It has been designed to help young people in Kent and Medway explore the opportunities and challenges offered by higher education in a safe, inclusive environment with the support of friendly and knowledgeable university staff and student ambassadors.
The Summer School is free of charge and during your time on the Summer School, you will be introduced to a
range of different academic subjects available at university and experience the student lifestyle. You will be
appointed a mentor, who will be a current student at the University of Kent. The mentors will ensure that you
feel at home whilst attending the Summer School and offer an additional point of contact to find out more
information about what it is like to be a university student.
