Critical perspectives research led teaching

Student life

Student life at Kent is rich and varied. Students are taught by leading academic scholars within an exciting, intellectually stimulating and supportive environment.

The international character of our School is reflected not only in our location (less than an hour from London and less than two hours from Paris by train) but in our staff and student body and in the global perspective to law that our curriculum offers. There are many opportunities to study abroad with exchange programmes offered at universities in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austira, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Canada, Chnina and Hong Kong.

My time at the University of Kent has been life changing. I have grown intellectually and have been able to see things in a more critical way than I did before. I can conduct independent research and I am a confident speaker. Perhaps one of the most positive aspects to being a Kent student is being part of one of the most diverse communities in terms of background, expertise and interests. I also appreciate the location of the University. It is very attractive and makes student life very exciting.
