LSSJ is a large, diverse, multidisciplinary Division with a shared ambition to make a difference; we strive to engage critically with social justice practices and projects at home and around the world. Our shared goal is to interrogate how we can make society work better for all.

You will have opportunities to develop practical legal skills in Mooting, Mock Trial Advocacy, Negotiation, Mediation and Client Interviewing. These activities enable you to build your confidence and learn “by doing”. And it’s an excellent way for you to apply what you learn in the classroom.

The UK’s first National Law Student Triathlon, sponsored by Thomson Reuters, will be hosted by KLS in 2022.

Kent Law School boasts a number of student societies run by law students for law students.
