Law School expression of solidarity with Black students and colleagues

As a Law School community, we want to express our solidarity with our Black students and colleagues:

Kent Law School is shocked and deeply saddened by the recent events in the United States – yet another manifestation of the systematic racial violence and inequalities that Black people experience on both sides of the Atlantic. We express sympathy and solidarity with our Black students and colleagues as we recognise these events evoke painful feelings and memories. As a community of critical law teachers, scholars and students, it is our responsibility to use our voice, skills and collective energy to confront and combat racial injustice wherever it is encountered.
