Duncan Finn

Duncan Finn joined Kent Business School in June 2012. He is a Lecturer in Financial Accounting and Taxation. He is also Senior Tutor for the Canterbury Campus. He is a member of the Accounting and Finance Group. Prior to teaching, he gained significant experience across different sectors and industries as an accountant, financial controller and finance director. These include construction, health, retail and banking.He currently works as an accounting and tax consultant in an accountancy practice.

Duncan’s main teaching interest is in Financial Accounting and taxaion. He tries to relate the theory learnt in the classroom to the application of those theories within the commercial world.

Duncan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Through the University he offers corporate training to commercial partners providing their senior management teams with operational accounting and finance knowledge.
