The Department of Religious Studies brings together leading researchers across a wide range of specialisms including biblical studies, Eastern and continental philosophy, and the sociology, anthropology and critical psychology of religion.
Our Department has an exceptional track record in supporting advanced research training at doctoral and post-doctoral level. We have developed a major online training resource in advanced methods for the study of religion, as well as researching the contemporary moral landscape.
On our postgraduate programmes, you develop specialist knowledge and extend your research skills. We offer taught Master’s and research degrees, including an MA in Religion variation that includes a term studying at Kent’s Paris School of Arts and Culture.
