Dan has existed as Teaching Staff in the school of computing for many years, across many modules and topic areas. His main teaching focuses are in Internet of Things, Maths and Cyber Security as well as Student Success Projects.
He also moonlights as a technician in the School's makerspace: "The Shed" assisting with both practical modules and general creative elements.
Dan also acts as the Schools' Liaison Officer working on bringing computing to the masses in entertaining ways. This has included running the FIRST LEGO League and assisting on Applicant and Open days.
His research interests lie in the fields of Quantum Cryptography, Embedded Systems and Cyber Security.
