Referencing Style Guides
General information on referencing styles, library support and School requirements are listed on the tabs. You can use Cite Them Right Online for guidance and support. Check with your module lecturer or tutor for exact details on the referencing style that you should use. The University has also a subscription to RefWorks which you can use to create properly formatted references and bibliographies in your essays and assignments.

Students can choose a recognised style that they are most comfortable with and use it consistently within each assignment. Students can choose a different style for each assignment they submit, but within the same assignment referencing has to be consistent.
