January 2021 starters
If your course is due to start in January 2021 you will need to apply for accommodation from 3 November 2020 onwards, and at least seven working days before your arrival date.
We will be sending out accommodation offers from the end of December 2020 and into January 2021 depending on your application date.
If you are an EU Exchange student or a postgraduate student you should arrive on Tuesday 12 January 2021.
International Foundation Year students should arrive on Saturday 23 January 2021.

If you wish to have essential items delivered direct to your room for your arrival, the ordering deadline from UniKitOut is midday on Thursday 4 January 2021.

September 2021 Starters
|mid-January 2021||Application page goes live for September 2021/22 intake||
New undergraduate students who have received a conditional or an unconditional offer from the University can submit an application.
Second and Third year returning students can also apply to live on campus again for the next acedemic year starting in September 2021.
|31 July 2021||Application deadline for September 2021/22 intake||
Applications for accommodation must be received by 31 July. Late applications will be considered subject to availability.
|24 August 2021||A level results day||
The University receives confirmation of A level results and makes decisions on applications. Other results may be received at different times.
|25 August 2021 onwards*||Offers sent out||
The University sends offers of accommodation once all conditions have been met and unconditional places have been confirmed.
Offers are sent out in batches once the room allocation process is complete. You will receive your accommodation offer via an email which will be sent to the preferred email address you supplied on your application.
*If you hold an unconditional offer of a place to study at the University of Kent before August, you will hear from us with on offer of a room earlier via email.
|late August 2021 onwards||Clearing||
Late, adjustment and clearing undergraduate and postgraduate applicants will be offered accommodation subject to availability.
Adjustment and clearing applicants must apply online and answer the question requesting university accommodation when prompted to do so during the online clearing application process. Details of those applicants who request accommodation via the clearing application form will automatically be passed to the accommodation Office for consideration in line with stated eligibility criteria.

|18/19 September 2021*||Arrivals period||
You've made it! You have now arrived on our beautiful campus. We would like to welcome 6,500 new undergraduate and postgraduate students and wish them all the best with settling in and beginning a new adventure.
*This date indicates the traditional Arrivals Weekend when students arrive to live in their on campus accommodation. Coronavirus situation depending, this period may be extended as it was in 2020 so students can arrive from the end of August to enable self-isolation and social distancing while moving in.

There is so much to do so keep an eye on the Hello Kent pages to see what is happening across campus and all the fun that is planned just for you whether this be virtual, small socially distanced face to face events or something else.|
|27 September 2021||Term starts||
If you have not arrived and are yet to inform us of your late arrival then you need to get in touch with the Accommodation Office.

The contact details you provide when applying for accommodation at Turing College, Keynes flats and houses or Woolf College, at the University of Kent, will be shared with UPP (University Partnerships Programme) a private accommodation partner. UPP will only contact you for any accommodation related matters during your stay in the accommodation.
