Kent Business School to hold virtual business science session (16 June)

How can business science boost your business?

Kent Business School will hold the University’s first virtual Business Soundbites session via Zoom on Wednesday 16 June (12:00 BST).

These sessions are free and open to the public.

Sector experts from Kent Business School will explore how innovations in business science are driving increased productivity across sectors, with particular focus on the south east economy.

Dr Catherine Robinson will give an up-to-date overview and her own expert insights into the south east’s economic landscape, examining the productivity puzzle and the impacts for business of skills mismatch.

Professor Jesse O’Hanley will reveal how analytics, simulation and modelling help business to make better decisions with three regional examples of impact.

Dr Virginia Spiegler will discuss re-manufacturing and the circular economy’s focus on re-using resources and managing product life cycle to minimise waste and create value for businesses.

Virtual attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A and learn how to access the academic expertise at Kent Business School for their business.
