Dr Sarah Hyde
18 October 2017
We are very sorry to have to convey the news that Dr Sarah Hyde, formerly Senior Lecturer in the Politics of Japan in the School of Politics and International Relations, died last week. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
As many of you will be aware, Sarah had bravely battled with her brain tumour for some considerable time and only took ill-health retirement in the last academic year. We all have our own personal memories of Sarah, and I know that collectively we admired her determination to continue teaching and play an active role in the School for as long as her health allowed.
If staff or students have any questions or need someone to talk to, please contact the School's Student Support Manager, Sara Witchell on ext 7854 S.L.Witchell@kent.ac.uk.
