Sustainability Working Group

The Sustainability Working Group recently won a Climate Action Award for their sustainability initiatives. These include climate café events, the plant-based loyalty card on campus and the Kent BioBlitz event. 

Jarman Jam

Jarman Jam are a group of Arts students, ranging from first year to postgraduate, who run a bi-termly creative showcase for students to share their artistic works. These events help to build a fun and supportive creative community.

Kent Community Oasis Garden Ambassadors Ameira and Charlie help mentor students, host events and promote the garden on social media, all with the aim to make the space as welcoming and friendly as possible.

Postgraduate Network

The Postgraduate Network have organised events to build a strong postgraduate community, persevering to ensure the postgraduate student voice is heard at all levels.

Congrats to Alex who recently won the NEON Student of the Year Award for all her amazing outreach work, inspiring students from all backgrounds to enter higher education. 

Kent Gospel Choir

Huge congratulations to Kent Gospel Choir, who recently won the 11th annual University Gospel Choir of the Year competition!

A new society this year, Kent Mind has created supportive events for students and fundraised for charities Mind and Student Minds.
