Welcome to SoccerZone - 5-a-side football league

Format: Enter a team with your friends and play a weekly 40 minute 5-a-side game
Who: Open to students, staff and alumni. All levels of playing experience are welcome
When: Fixtures every Thursday with 3 different league options: 5pm-6pm league, 6pm-7pm league OR 7pm-8pm league
Where: Park Wood 3G, The Pavilion
Team entry fee: £42 per team for the term

ALL players must have a Kent Sport membership to play. This can include a Pay To Play membership, which is free to purchase and activate.

With a Pay To Play membership each game will cost £6.50 for students*
With a Plus or Premium Plus membership each game will be FREE for students*

*Team entry fee is in addition to the above facility entry fees.

Entries Open for Term 2

Follow the link below to secure your team's place in the term 2 leagues. These will start in January 2026 but hurry as spaces fill up quickly. The 6pm and 7pm leagues are now full but there are still spaces available in the 5pm league.

SoccerZone 2025/26 Term 1 Review

A busy term of 5-a-side football saw 22 teams competing across four leagues.

TSOC were crowned champions of the newly formed 5pm league with some impressive performances throughout the season.

In the 6pm league, Trolley Pushers won the race to the title, finishing an impressive 6 points clear of their nearest rivals. However, the rest of the league was closely fought, with five teams battling for second place.

Amigos United won the 7pm league, recording an impressive 8 wins from their 8 matches. Woodland Wanderers and Mbuemo No.5 had strong seasons to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. The University of Kent Sport staff finished their season with 4 wins in a row to secure a respectable 4th place.

SoccerZone returns in January with 5pm, 6pm and 7pm leagues on Thursday evenings.
