Weekly 5-a-side football league, open to students, staff, and alumni.
ALL players must have a Kent Sport membership to play. This can include a Pay To Play membership, which is free to purchase and activate.
Follow the link below to secure your team's place in the term 2 leagues. These will start in January 2026 but hurry as spaces fill up quickly. Teams can enter into either the 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm leagues on Thursday evenings.
A busy term of 5-a-side football saw 22 teams competing across four leagues.
TSOC were crowned champions of the newly formed 5pm league with some impressive performances throughout the season.
In the 6pm league, Trolley Pushers won the race to the title, finishing an impressive 6 points clear of their nearest rivals. However, the rest of the league was closely fought, with five teams battling for second place.
Amigos United won the 7pm league, recording an impressive 8 wins from their 8 matches. Woodland Wanderers and Mbuemo No.5 had strong seasons to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. The University of Kent Sport staff finished their season with 4 wins in a row to secure a respectable 4th place.
SoccerZone returns in January with 5pm, 6pm and 7pm leagues on Thursday evenings.
The SoccerZone 5-a-side football cup took place on 3rd April. The cup followed a group stage format followed by knockout rounds. The knockout rounds included many close battles, with several games going to penalties. In an end to end final, WGFC were crowned champions after beating Inter the Man 3-1 . It was great to see over 90 players competing in the cup. Stay tuned for updates on more 5-a-side football cups on campus.
The term 2 SoccerZone league has now reached an end. In the 6pm league, ISOC clinched the title with a 4-2 against their nearest rival in a title deciding game. Mbuemo No. 5 were crowned 7pm league champions despite tough competition for Mozzers FC and Ange Poste No Clue. With many end to end games and great goals, it was another great term of 5-a-side football.
